Rain plays spoil support in Katoch Shield Matches

In the 1st match played at PCA Cricket stadium Mohali play started after tea due to wet ground conditions because of early morning showers. Chandigarh resuming at  233 for 8 overnight were shot out 241 in 95 overs. Replying Jalandhar were 47 for 1 in 23 overs at close of play.

In the match between Ludhiana and Mohali, Ludhiana won the toss and elected to bat at PAU Ground. They were 86 for no loss in 35 overs that were bowled during the day. Nitin Goel was unbeaten on 32 while Arjun Puri scored an unbeaten 51.

In the North Zone Under 14 years Tournament match between Punjab and Himachal being played at Rohtak, Himachal won the toss and elected to bat. Himachal were 128 for 4 in 76 overs. Dhruv Raj 23, Karan 11, Aproov Walia 66, Ayush  12 Sidhant  18 not out and Amit 15 not out.  For PCA Kuwar Pathak  1 for 10 and Abhishek 1 for 34 and Surinder 1 for 47 were the successful bowlers.

In the Under 19 Women Inter Academy match which was played between Chandigarh and Moga, Chandigarh won the toss and elected to bat and were all out at 110 in 26.1 overs.  Rajni  24, Taniya Bhatia  43 were the main run getters for Chandigarh Jaspreet Kaur 3 for 20, Sunita  4 for 26 and Nirmal 2 for 15 were the main wicket takers for Moga.

Replying Moga were bundled out at 68 in 21.4 overs.  Amarpal 11, Sukraj 15 and Prabhdeep 16 were the run getters for Moga. For Chandigarh Priyanka 5 for 21, Rajni 2 for 14 and Nandini 2 for 20 were the main wicket takers.
Chandigarh won the match and got 5 points including a bonus while Moga got (-01)
