The second day of two-day 6th Invitational Chess Championship saw closes finishes in different categories. The winners were facilitated by Chairperson Vikas  Jain.  In Under-9 (Boys) category The Gurukul , Sector-26, Panchkula seized the first position and the Junior Gurukul  School Zirakpur had to be satisfied with second place.
 In Under-11 (Boy) category, Bhawan Vidhayala bagged first position and The Gurukul , Sector 26 Panchkula second position and Alpine School Pinjore third position.  Under 13 (Boy) Category, Bhawan Vidhayala Sector 15 swept both first and second positions and Alpine School, Pinjore third position.  The Under-15 (Boy) of Bhawan Vidhayala Sector 15 bagged both first and second positions and Alpine School, Pinjore third position. Under-17 (boys) categories first and second position went to Alpine School Pinjore and 3rd position to Bhawan Vidhayala.
In Under-17 (girls) Categories 1st and 2nd positions were claimed by Bhawan Vidhayala and 3rd position went to Alpine School Pinjore.
Individual: Boys Under–9: 1 Moksh, 2 Ashwin, 3 Darsh. Under-11: 1 Adytia (Bhawan Vidhayala, Chandigarh), 2 Harsh Rana (The Gurukul , Sector-26, Panchkula), 3 Ajay (The Gurukul , Sector-26, Panchkula). Under -13: 1  Govind (Bhawan Vidhayala, Sec-15, PKL), Darsh (Bhawan Vidhayala, Sec-15, PKL), 3 Madhav (Bhawan Vidhayala, Sec-15, PKL) Open Harish Kumar (Govt. College Sector 1, Panchkula), 2 Gaurav , 3 Gurdeep Khokhar.
Under 7 Girls:  1 Chitrakshi  (Junior Gurukul, Zirakpur), 2 Nandani (Junior Gurukul, Zirakpur). Under- 9:  1 Muskan (Junior Gurukul, Zirakpur), 2 Adati (Bhawan Vidhayala, Sec-15, PKL), 3 Sonakshi (Bhawan Vidhayala, Sec-15, PKL). Under-13: 1 Tanya (Alpine School, Pinjore), 2 Jiya (Alpine School, Pinjore). Under 17: 1 Lavisha (Bhawan Vidhayala, Sec-15, PKL), 2 Ananya (Bhawan Vidhayala, Sec-15, PKL), 3 Rhytham (Bhawan Vidhayala, Sec-15, PKL).

T20 tri-series: Chameera's 4-fer against Pakistan leads Sri Lanka to final
