Six Indians made the cut, three of them pros and three amateurs. The 14-year-old school girl, Aditi Ashok, held her nerves to shoot a 74 that kept her as the best Indian at one-under 143 and in tied 10 th alongside the likes of ISPS Handa Order of Merit leader Carlota Ciganda (75-68) and Becky Morgan (70-73). The leader after two rounds was Two-time champion Phatlum Pornanong of Thailand moved into the pole position, while the defending champion Swede Caroline Hedwall cracked the course record as the duo revived memories of their 2011 battle at the DLF Golf and Country Club. 7th Kanwar Harbans Lal Memorial Football Tournament

Today’s first semifinal match was played between Mahilpur united Football Club, mahilpur and D.F.A Mohali. The Mohali team won the match by 2 goals to nil. The first goal was scored by Kartik of Mohali team in 44th minute of the match. In the second half mahilpur players combined well and made some fine moves but failed to score the goal. Most of the moves from Mahilpur team were spearheaded by Baligagandeep a brilliant stricker. Substitute player of Mohali team Inderjeet Singh scored in 68th minute and made the tally 2-0 in favour of DFA Mohali. ECB TEAM VISITS PCA STADIUM MOHALI

The visiting team was shown around by Mr. G.S. Walia, Hony. Jt. Secretary, PCA and Brig. G.S. Sandhu, CEO PCA.    The team saw the practice area, the Indoor facility, the playing square and the Gym and were fully satisfied with the facilities available. Sharmila, a Brand Ambassador of Hero, a player in Ladies European tour, had Mr. Pawan Munjal, Managing Director and CEO of Hero MotoCorp, and Ms Gitanjali Kirloskar as her teammates in the Putting competition. Each of them had single putts twice each as they beat the team Brazilian pro Adilson Da Silva, Mr. Dilip Thomas and Mr. Arnaud Laborde to the second place. In the morning Pro-Am, Anirban Lahiri’s teammates were Mr. Arvind Wable, Mr. Ajay Kumar Gopal and Mr. Indur Hirani.
