Resuming at 25 for 2 in 17 overs Amritsar went on to earn a draw against Chandigarh and in the process garnered one point while Chandigarh got 3 points. Manish Bhatia  59 off 123 balls with 10 boundaries led the Amritsar fight back.  He was ably assisted by Sharad Lumba 28, Sumit Sharma  40 and Bharat Lumba  68. Amritsar had scored  237 for 8 in 94.3 overs when stumps were drawn for the match. Gaurav Gambhir 3 for 69, Ajay Dalal 2 for 45, Bipul Sharma 2 for 48 and Gurinder Singh 1 for 40 were the wicket takers for Chandigarh.

Resuming at overnight total of 63 for no loss, Ludhiana went on to score 281 for all in 89.2 overs. Openers Ashish and Nitin Goel stitched an opening partnership of 100 runs in 40.5 overs beofe Nitin Goel was trapped in front by Gurkirat for 49 off 118 balls studded with 5 boundaries. Ashish also left on the same score being caught by Yogesh off Ishan Malhotra for 46 off 131 balls.  Gitansh Khera (58) off 105 balls with 3 boundaries and one six added 66 runs for the 6th wicket with Davinder Sidhu unbeaten on 77 off 88 balls studded with 9 boundaries and 3 towering sixes. Left arm spinner Yogesh 4 for 56 and Gurkirat 3 for 99 were the main wicket takers for Jalandhar.
