The Competition will be held in age categories of under 14 and 16 years for boys and girls.  The Athletes must be bonafide students or residents of Sectors up to 25 for North District. Where ever Athletes from for South District must be bonafide students or residents of from the Sectors 26 onwards can participate. The entries will be accepted on the spot and the athletes must produce original Date of birth Certificate and residence proof. During the Chandigarh North and South District Athletics Championships Teams will be selected for the participation in National Inter District Championships to be held at Haridwar from 3 rd   to 5 th   November, 2012.

Nalini, whose home course is the DLF Golf and Country overcame the nervousness of two double bogeys on the front nine and held her nerve in the closing stages with one birdie and five pars in the last six holes for a card of 75. Nalini totalled 217, four clear of Smriti Mehra (80) and Vani Kapoor (72), who were tied for second at 221.
