Shubhangi, Rishabh, Vasundhara, Ishan win TT titles

Rishabh Sachdeva  of Rohtak outpointed Nikhil from Patiala by 11-8, 11-6, 11-7 in the Cadet Boys Under-12 final of the Prof. R.S.Mehta Memorial Open Table Tennis Tourament at the Sector 23 Table Tennis Hall here today.
Shubhangi of Delhi Public School, Sector 40 cornered glory by beating Aparna (Gurukul)  11-5, 11-8, 9-11, 13-11 in the Cadet Girls Under-12 final.
Local boy Ishan Kapur of DAV Public School, Sector 8 defeated Gopal of St. Stephen’s, Sector 45 by 11-5, 11-4, 11-9 in the Kids Boys final. A Gurukul School trainee Vasundhara got the better of Parvika  of Mohali 11-7, 11-7, 11-6  in the Kids Girls final.
Results: Cadet Girls (Under-12 years):  Semifinals: Shubhangi (DPS-40) bt Vasundhara (Gurukul Panchkula) 11-5, 11-8, 11-13, 11-9, Aparna (Gurukul Global) bt Vibhuti (Gurukul Manimajra)   11-8, 5-11, 11-9, 10-12, 11-8. Final:  Shubhangi (DPS-40) bt Aparna (Gurukul)  11-5, 11-8, 9-11, 13-11.
Cadet Boys (Under 12-years): Semifinals: Rishabh Sachdeva (Rohtak) bt Babric 11-7, 11-7, 11-6, Nikhil (Patiala) bt Ishan Kapur (DAVPS-8) 11-6, 11-2, 11-8. Final: Rishabh Sachdeva (Rohtak) bt Nikhil (Patiala) 11-8, 11-6, 11-7.
Kids Girls (Under 10 years): Final: Vasundhara (Gurukul) bt Parvika (Mohali) 11-7, 11-7, 11-6.
 Kids Boys (Under 10 years): Final: Ishan Kapur (DAVPS-8 ) bt Gopal (St.,Stephen’s) 11-5, 11-4, 11-9.
