Forest Hill Weekend Golf Coaching Programme from September 2

A 6 -day weekend golf coaching programme will be conducted from September 22 at the picturesque Forest Hill Golf & Country Club which is located just 2.5 km from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh (behind Chandigarh Club). The management of Forest Hill has taken the initiative to conduct this programme with a purpose to promote golf in the Tricity and to provide an ideal opportunity to young working executives, college students, teenagers and ladies to try their hands at golf, a game which is fast growing in India.
A comprehensive and detailed curriculum will be followed over these six days and all the basics of golf will be taught to each pupil including the grip, aim, alignment, stance, posture, hitting, chipping, putting etc. This programme will be conducted in a systematic and structured manner by European certified coach Ajay Gujral who has over 13 years experience in teaching golf in India and Abroad.Teaching will be carried out on the fully covered state-of-the-art Driving Range of Forest Hill which is one of the largest in the country with a total of 18 hitting bays.
The programme will be conducted at 5.00 pm on Saturday’s and 10:30 a.m on Sunday’s. A handout on safety, etiquette and rules of golf will be given to each pupil. Each participant will also get 3 premium Golf Magazines worth Rs.300 absolutely free. People who are totally new to the game and do not have their own equipment have nothing to worry, Golf Equipment and Balls will be provided to all.
