Chandigarh:The 19th edition of the All India JP Atray Memorial cricket tournament will be held from September 15 to 25 at the PCA Stadium (Mohali), Sector 16 Cricket Stadium (Chandigarh), Tau Devi Lal Cricket Stadium, Sector 3 (Panchkula), LIC Cricket Academy, GMHS Sector 26 (Chandigarh), St.John School, Sector 26 (Chandigarh) and Dhruv Pandove Cricket Stadium (Patiala). A total of 16 leading teams from all over the country will take part in the tournament and will be played on league-cum-knockout basis. All the matches will be of 50 overs each innings. Winners will get a cash prize of Rs two lakh along with winner's trophy while runners up will get Rs one lakh and the trophy. The teams will be divided in four pools and top two teams from each pool will qualify for the quarter finals. Mumbai Cricket Association, Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association, Odisha Cricket Association, India Cements Chennai, Indian Oil Corporation, Mumbai, BPCL Mumbai, Air India Delhi, Reliance Industries Mumbai, All India FCI Delhi, MRF Chennai, SBOP Patiala, PCC, PCA Colts and ONGC Delhi are some of the teams likely to figure in the tournament. There will be 31 matches including the finals in this 11-day cricket tournament.
