Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22 beat Carmel Convent School Sector-9   (B Team) by 3-0 on the second day of Chandigarh Sub Junior Girls Football Championship for Dr. Kamesh Bhargava Memorial Trophy at Stephen’s School ground in Sector 45 here today,
Talented right striker Anjali performed a brilliant hat-trick by socrings in the 6th, 8th  and 14th minutes and qualified for league starting from tomorrow.
 In the second knock out match Saupin’s School Sector 32, Chandigarh beat Mount Carmel School, Sector 47, Chandigarh by 2-0 goals in a well contested match and the scorer was right winger Hartania who netted in the 13th & 16thminutes with solo efforts and qualified for league.
 In the 3rd match Carmel Convent School beat Govt. Model Girls Team by 4-0 goals in a one sided match and the scorer were Jaspreet , Sarika and Suchnit in 7th , 16th and 22nd minute and 19th minutes, respectively. Carmel Convent also qualified for the league.
Tomorrow’s fixtures: Sacred Heart Sr. Sec. School Sector 26  vs Govt. Model Sr. Sec.School-22 (9.30 a.m), Carmel Convent School Sector -9   vs Saupins School Sector 32 (10.30 a.m).
