Government Model Senior Secondary School, Manimajra Housing
Complex claimed the overall trophy with 21 points in girls under-17 section of
the Chandigarh Inter-School Sqay Championship here today. Government Girls Model
Senior Secondary School, Sector 20-B and Ryan International School, Sector 49
finished second and third with 10 and 9 points, respectively.
Results: Below 36 kg: 1 Santosh Kumari (GMSSS –MHC), 2 Kiran (GHS-38 B),
3 Nisha Rani (GMMS-45 A) and Garima (Carmel
Convent-9).
Below 40 kg: 1 Kirti
(GGMSSS-18), 2 Shivani (GGMSSS-20 B), 3 Preeti (GMSSS-10) and Yogita Bisht (GMSSS-20-D).
Below 44 kg:
1 Teela (GMSSS-MHC), 2 Roopa (GMSSS-18), 3 Baagirathi (GMSSS-8) and Karishma (GSSS-MMT).
Below 48 k:
1 Rishika (GMSSS-8), 2 Shreya Mahajan (Ryan-49), 3 Rekha (GHS-38-B) and Archna
(GGMSSS-20B).
Below 52 kg: 1 Jasleen Sandhu (Ryan-49), 2 Kajal Rani (GGMSSS-20
B), 3 Shivani (GMSSS-MHC) and Kajal Negi (GHS-7-C).
Below 56 kg:
1 Seema (GMSSS-MHC), 2 Preeti (GGMSSS-20 B), 3 Monalisha (GMSSS-8) and Kirti (GMMS-45 B).
Above 56 kg: 1 Pooja (GMSSS-20-D), 2 Drshika (Carmel Convent-9),
2 Preeti Divya (GHS-47 A), 3 Priyanka (Ryan-49).
Overall Championship: 1 GMSSS-MHC 21 points, 2 GGMSSS-20 B 10 pts, 3
Ryan International-49 9 pts.
