AADIL BEDI AND PRAKHAR ASAWA  FINISHED ON TOP IN ALL INDIA INTER SCHOOL GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP AT GURGAON.

IT was hot and humid day marked with rare rain, tough golf condition, but not for 11 Year  old AADIL Bedi who shot best round of his life of one under par and won in C category  in all India Inter School golf championship at ITC  classic golf resort at Gurgaon. Trailing on the start of day 2, started with series of birdies and par on first 13 holes and got the lead on day 2. His 2 day score was 78 and 71 which includes 5 birdies and beats Kshitij Kaul of Delhi by 6 strokes.  He represented Vivek High School, Sector 38, Chandigarh. Another Scintillating performance was by Prakhar Asawa of St John High school Chandigarh, who shoot level par score on 2 days (72,72). He won in B category. Another good performance of Chandigarh boys was by Feroz Grewal  who shoot 152 on 2 days and finished 3rd in A category. Whereas Jairaj sandhu of B category finished 4th.
This tournament was conducted by Albatross India, who has already conducted 43 national tournament and 3 international tournament. 4th international tournament will be at JP Greens on 20-23 November 2012.
It was 2nd inter school tournament. Each school floated 2 members team in A/B and C/D category. In A/B category DAV Model School, Sector  15 of Chandigarh won the trophy. Team was Feroz Singh Grewal 152 and Jairaj Singh Sandhu 155. They beats St John High School by 4 strokes. Team members of of St. John High School  was Prakhar Asawa 144 and Jaiveer Singh 167.
Incidentally all these players gets coaching from A Class coach Mr. Jesse Grewal and practice at CGA range Chandigarh. CGA president Mr. CSR Reddy IPS has all praise for these young kids. He further said that to promote the spirit of competition among junior golf we are planning to conduct 3 tournament. First tournament is scheduled on 25-26 August at SEPTA golf course Chandimandir.
