BHAVJOT,ASAV AND SUMER SAIL INTO THE NEXT ROUND :
Bhavjot singh and sumer sandhu in the (boys u-12 & u-14) and asav kumar in the
(boys u-10 & u-12) sailed into the next round in their respective categories after
registering comprehensive victories against their opponents in the ongoing YMCA
total tennis championship being played at YMCA total tennis academy sector –
11 ,chandigarh .
Bhavjot singh outplayed his opponent vansh deep in an one-sided affair which lasted
only 30 minutes in the boys u-12 event . bhavjot singh brought his a-game today as he
won the match without conceding even a single game in the whole match . the final
score was 6-0.bhavjot singh also cruised into the next round of the boys u-14 category
after he blanked his opponent gaurish 6-0 .
In the same category , sumer sandhu ousted his opponent gaurish in a yet another one
–sided affair . summer sandhu displayed his class as he dropped only a single game in
the match and triumphed 6-1.sumer also moved into the next round of the boys u-14
category after defeating sahil yadav in a tough encounter . the final score was 6-5(7-2)
Asav kumar the giant killer in the tournament moved into the next rounds in both
the boys u-10 and u-12 categories .in the boys u-10 category asav kumar had no
problem what so ever in demolishing his opponent jaspreet 6-0 . in the u-12 category
asav kumar dropped only one game in the entire match to his opponent sarbjot and
registered an easy win with a score of 6-1 against him .
