ECB TEAM VISITS PCA STADIUM MOHALI

The England and Wales Cricket Board Team led by Mr. John Carr, Director Cricket Operations England and Wales Cricket Board alongwith Mr. Ian Smith Players Cricket Association representative, and Mr. Roger Dickason, Security Advisor alongwith Mr. Suru Nayak from BCCI visited PCA Stadium Mohali to check up the ground and security arrangements for the upcoming India England One Day match to be played in the last week of January,2012. The visiting team was shown around by Mr. G.S. Walia, Hony. Jt. Secretary, PCA and Brig. G.S. Sandhu, CEO PCA.  The team saw the practice area, the Indoor facility, the playing square and the Gym and were fully satisfied with the facilities available. The security arrangements were discussed with the Mohali Police representative Mr. Swarandeep Singh SP City  in presence of the PCA Officials. The visiting team was apprised about the availability of medical facilities on the ground including presence of medical team alongwith ambulance and the tieup with Fortis Healthcare Ltd., Security during practice, Anti Sabotage measures and Security during teams movement from Hotel J.W Merriot  to PCA Stadium, Mohali. The team was also apprised that the flood lights during the match will be running on the generator set according to Mr. Sushil Kapoor, Spokesperson PCA.
