Piyush Manuja of Chandigarh in Patnitop Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament

Piyush Manuja of Chandigarh, Tamojit Chakraborty of West Bengal and Dheeraj Dubey of Madhya Pradesh were leading at the end of round five in the Patnitop Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament, organised by All J&K Chess Association, here today. 

Besides, two JK Bank boys have moved into the 5th round of All India Patnitop Open Chess tournament. 
The tournament is being organized by J&K Chess Association and played under the aegis of All India Chess Federation (AICF) at Patnitop Jammu. The tournament is also approved by International Chess Federation (FIDE).
Adil Ashraf and Syed Tasaduq Madni, both JK bank officials have shown their talent in the game of Chess by winning three rounds out of four against top rated players of the country. While Adil Ashraf won his fourth round against Jatinder Singh, a high rated player of Punjab while holding black dice, Syed defeated another rated player of Madhya Pradesh, Akshit Agarwal in his fourth round with the white dice.
Atul Gupta, also a JK bank official and a reputed and rated Chess player of India, is one of the organizers of the tournament and presently Joint Secretary of All India Chess Federation has also moved to the fifth round
