Olympics: No team doctor to attend to Indian boxers’ injuries

Team India’s doctor Karanjeet Singh should have been named in the Olympic-bound contingent in the official capacity but was relegated in the list as an ‘extra official’. He has been cooling his heels in a hotel outside the Athletes Village. The Tokyo 2020 organisers haven’t allowed him ‘venue access’ on his P-TAP (Personal-Training Assist Programme) accreditation.
