The 7th Kanwar Harbans Lal Memorial Football Tournament is being conducted by the

Youngsters Club at Sector 17 Football Stadium, from 16th November 2012 to 26th November 2012.

Today’s first semifinal match was played between Mahilpur united Football Club, mahilpur

and D.F.A Mohali. The Mohali team won the match by 2 goals to nil. The first goal was scored by

Kartik of Mohali team in 44th minute of the match. In the second half mahilpur players combined well

and made some fine moves but failed to score the goal. Most of the moves from Mahilpur team were

spearheaded by Baligagandeep a brilliant stricker. Substitute player of Mohali team Inderjeet Singh

scored in 68th minute and made the tally 2-0 in favour of DFA Mohali. Hanish Patial of Mohali team

was shown YELLOW CARD for rough play in 72nd minute of the game.

Jashan of D.F.A.Mohali was adjudged the man of the match.

Second semifinal match was played between Dalbir Football Academy, Patiala and

Youngsters Club, Chandigarh .

The match started at fast pace. First goal was scored by Tarsem lal of Patiala team in 26th

minute. Second goal was scored by Narinder Kumar of Patiala team in 42nd. In 44th minute of the

game Ravinder pal singh of Patial dangerously tackled the Chandigarh team’s striker Bhupinder

Singh and referee awarded the penalty kick in favour of Youngsters Club but Beckham of Youngsters

club missed the penality. Till half time Patiala team was leading by 2-0.

Narinder Kumar of Patiala team was adjudged the man of the match. Chief guest of the day

Sh A.A. Siddiqui, Retired DGP Punjab Police gave away the man of the match award.

The final match will be played between Dalbir Football Academy, Patiala and D.F.A.Mohali at

2-00 PM. On 26-11-2012 Monday.
