Warne experiences ‘Royals Redefined’ at INOX Insignia

The first Royal and spin magician Shane Warne is delighted with his new role as the Royals Brand Ambassador this season. On his arrival in Mumbai, he unveiled the new look of the Royals in Pink in an exclusive show on Star Sports on 10th February 2019. Announcing Pink as the new official colour of the Rajasthan Royals, he also introduced the new athleisure wear for players and fans and expressed his sentiments about how the fan’s responses from all over encouraged us to own a unique colour.

During his visit to the visited INOX, the official cinema partners of the Rajasthan Royals, addressed the top management and shared his life experiences on how teamwork, respect within the team, and leadership matters for any sport or an organisation to be successful.

INOX is among India’s leading multiplex chains in the cinema exhibition industry. INOX operates 136 multiplexes, 557 screens and 67 cities. Alok Tandon, the CEO for INOX along with his team, welcomed Shane to the Insignia experience at Atria Mall. As a welcome note, Tandon was excited to mention how everyone at INOX will be cheering for the Royals through the IPL in Pink. Present at the address by Shane Warne were the entire management and staff of INOX along with Daizy Lal, COO INOX and Anand Vishal, Vice President Sales.

Taking the INOX management through his life experiences he shared how great this partnership will be: “Thank you INOX for getting on board with the Rajasthan Royals. It’s a terrific family to be a part of. I am privileged to have witnessed such a beautiful cinematic experience today.”

Shane talked about how being honest with the team and having respect for each other is important to win. No matter what industry you are a part of, it is important that you are honest with your team. He gave an example of how he would be honest in sharing with his teammates why they haven’t made it into the playing XI this time. “They may feel hurt, but they will always respect you for your honesty,” said Warne.

On being asked by one of the ladies present about how to best deal with stress and anxiety at work, Shane advised, “It can be a daunting experience when you have to deliver in front of your bosses when you know you are going to be judged. However, there are three things to keep in mind to perform to your potential. Prepare well, feel fresh and be happy.”
