US Open 2024 attendance tops one million for first time

The 2024 US Open set a new attendance record with over one million fans at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Taylor Fritz lost to Jannik Sinner in the men's final, while Jessica Pegula was defeated by Aryna Sabalenka in the women's final. The tournament had a record $75 million purse.
