T20 World Cup: Yuzvendra Chahal, Avesh Khan depart for US

India's bowling duo, Yuzvendra Chahal and Avesh Khan, have departed to join the first batch of the Men in Blue squad in New York ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup, starting on June 1. Star spinner Chahal, who played for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the recently concluded IPL 2024, had an impressive campaign, taking 18 wickets. Pacer Avesh Khan will accompany the team as a reserve player.
