Punjab Kings pacer Harshal Patel wins second Purple Cap in IPL

Harshal Patel, the versatile quick from Punjab Kings, clinched the Purple Cap in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 as the tournament concluded at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday. Finishing the season with an impressive tally of 24 wickets in 14 matches, Patel maintained an economy rate of 9.73 and an average of 19.87. This marks his second Purple Cap, following his triumph in 2021 while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore, where he bagged 32 wickets in a single season.
