Chennai Super Kings' pacer Matheesha Pathirana's participation in the current IPL season seems to be over as he returns to Sri Lanka to recuperate from a hamstring injury. The right-arm fast bowler appeared in six matches this IPL season, claiming 13 wickets with an economy rate of 7.68. Pathirana's final game for CSK was their 78-run win against Sunrisers Hyderabad, where he bowled two overs and took the wickets of Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen.
