The ICC T20 World Cup 2020 is proud to be supporting globally-recognised business leader Indra Nooyi’s upcoming visit to Australia in June, ICC-cricket.com has reported.

ICC T20 World Cup Australia 2020 Local Organising Committee CEO Nick Hockley said, “We are excited that Indra Nooyi, a senior figure in cricket and one of the most prominent global business leaders, will be visiting Australia as we prepare to welcome the world for two ICC T20 World Cups in 2020.

“Indra’s rise to one of the world’s foremost business leaders is well documented. We look forward to learning from her, as we seek to inspire the next generation via the ICC T20 World Cup 2020.”

Mrs. Nooyi, twice named on TIME’s list of “100 Most Influential People”, will be the special guest speaker at exclusive events for business leaders in Melbourne and Sydney on June 17 and 18 June respectively.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2020 is a Platinum Partner of “An Evening with Indra Nooyi”, presented by The Growth Faculty.

The former Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo from 2006-18, Mrs. Nooyi was recently named to Amazon’s board of directors, and in 2018 was appointed to the International Cricket Council board as its first independent female director. She also serves on the board of the World Economic Forum and Yale School of Management.

In 2020, Australia will host two ICC T20 World Cups, with the women’s and men’s tournaments to be played as standalone events across Australia. Both events will culminate in finals at the world’s largest cricket stadium, the Melbourne Cricket Ground, presenting an opportunity to set a new world record for the highest attendance at a women’s sporting fixture on 8 March 2020, which is International Women’s Day.

Melbourne – June 17, 2019, Melbourne Room, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre

Sydney – June 18, 2019, Grand Ballroom, International Convention Centre
