German sportswear giant Puma has signed up Spain’s World Cup star David Silva as a brand ambassador. Tipped to be the most classic footballer in Spain, Silva dumps adidas to wear Puma One boots.
“I was already wearing Puma football boots when I was a kid and I am looking forward to wearing the brand again. Some people call me El Mago, so for my next trick I’ll be wearing Puma One,” said 32-year-old Silva in a release.
Silva has also shared his video of the Puma One unveiling on his official twitter handle @21LVA, with a question “what you think of my new boots…”

The Spain and Manchester United striker joins Luis Suarez and Romelu Lukaku in the Puma camp as the German sportswears brand icons.
As part of the agreement, Silva, whose Manchester City teammate Sergio Aguero is also endorsed by Puma, will wear Puma One boots.
The path breaking Puma One, with mixed conical and bladed studs, features a kangaroo leather toe cap, and has won impressive reviews from players and sporting websites alike.
