- 1 billion-plus cricket fans globally, 90 percent of them in the Indian Subcontinent
- 34 is the average age of fans (in the surveyed age category of 16-69), with a demographic breakdown of 61% male and 39% female
- 2/3rd of fans over the age of 16 are
- interested in all three formats of the game
- 95 per cent are interested or very in the ICC global events, with the World Cup and the World T20 the most popular.
- 68 per cent fans are interested in women's cricket, and 70 per cent want to see more live coverage of women's cricket.
- 92 per cent fans interested in T20Is, making the shortest format the most popular globally; the fans in Pakistan (98%) showed the strongest interest in this format.
- 88 per cent showed interest in ODIs, with South African fans (91 %) leading the interest in this format.
- 70% fans are interested in Test cricket, with fans in England & Wales showing the strongest interest in this format (86%)
- 87 per cent of would like to see T20 cricket in the Olympic Games.
