SL, BAN move closer to semifinal berth at Women's Asia Cup 2024

The Women's Asia Cup T20 saw Sri Lanka and Bangladesh secure victories against Malaysia and Thailand, respectively, bringing them closer to semifinal berths. In the second match, Thailand posted 96/9, with Nattaya Boochatham scoring 40. Bangladesh chased the target easily, reaching 100/3 in 17.3 overs, led by Murshida Khatun's 50. Both teams now lead Group B with four points each.
