Virat always acknowledged we selected him at the right time: Vengsarkar

Former Indian cricket selector Dilip Vengsarkar recalls the first time he saw Virat Kohli play and how impressed he was with his game and determination. He credits the selection committee for backing his decision to pick Kohli for the ODI series in Sri Lanka in 2008. Vengsarkar praises Kohli for his ability to rejuvenate himself after a poor IPL season and for his contribution to Indian cricket's culture of fitness.
