Sutirtha-Ayhika pair clinches WTT Contender title

Indian women's doubles pair of Sutirtha Mukherjee and Ayhika Mukherjee clinched the WTT Contender tournament title in Tunis on Sunday. The duo defeated the Japanese pair of Miyuu Kihara and Miwa Harimoto 3-1 (11-5, 11-6, 5-11, 13-11). The resounding win not only secured the championship for the Indian pair but also marked a historic moment as they became the first Indians to clinch a Contender title this year.
