Giroud scores as France beat England 2-1 to enter World Cup semis

Holders France continued their pursuit of back-to-back titles as they defeated England 2-1 at the Al Bayt stadium to reach the FIFA World Cup 2022 semi-finals in Qatar on Sunday. The defending champions will face first-timer Morocco, who knocked Portugal out of the tournament on Saturday, for a place in the final on Thursday.
