Syringe in room, athlete asked to leave national camp

National-level athlete Chhavi Sharawat - who along with fellow quartermiler Prachi had dragged the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) to the Supreme Court over her non-inclusion in the athletics squad for Jakarta Asian Games - has been removed from the national camp at the NIS Patiala with immediate effect after syringes were found in her room.
