chandigarhsportsnews.blogspot.in National Gatka Competition in Kathmandu on 10 th Oct Chandigarh September 23: To promote and revive Indian indigenous martial art Gatka as a game in the Nepal , the Asian Gatka Federation has constituted its sports organization in the country by nominating S. Pritam Singh as head of Gatka Federation of Nepal. Disclosing this, Asian Gatka Federation (AGF) President S. S.P Singh Oberoi said that the Federation would promote this traditional martial art as a recognised sport in the Asian countries as well as at international level. He added that four Gatka coaches from India would reach at Kathmandu on 25 th September to train the players as per World Gatka Federation Rules book and a national level Gatka competition would be organized in the Kathmandu on 10 th October 2012 in which various Gatka Federation officials would grace the occasion.
